NTI Academy for Leadership exists to help leaders develop. That only works if the information you give us stays yours. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
1.Who we are
This policy covers the website at ntileadership.com and the private participant pages reached through it, operated by George K. Nti, PhD, PMP, founder and lead facilitator of NTI Academy for Leadership. Where we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean NTI Academy for Leadership.
2.Information we collect
We only ask for what a program actually needs. Depending on how you use the site, that can include:
- Registration details you type into the pilot registration form: full name, email, job title, organization, phone, your supervisor or sponsor (name and email), how many people you lead, organization type, the leadership challenge you want to work on, and any accessibility or accommodation needs you tell us about.
- Account details: your email address and a password you choose (stored as a scrambled value we cannot read back), or a Google account you use to sign in.
- Assessment responses: your answers to the thirty developmental self-assessment items, and the scores calculated from them.
- Program records: session attendance, session and program evaluations you submit, your 90-day action plan, and the Day 30 and Day 60 follow-up entries.
- Completion records: whether you met the completion requirements, and the completion certificate number and date if one was issued.
- Messages: anything you send to Dr. Nti through the message form on your participant page.
- Organization requests: proposal and pricing enquiries submitted through the For Organizations page, including the organization name and contact details you provide.
- Basic technical information needed to keep you signed in and to keep the site working.
3.How we use information
- To confirm your registration, keep the seat count, and tell you whether you have a place.
- To run the program: send session details, the private page link, reminders, and follow-up prompts at Day 30, Day 60 and Day 90.
- To score your assessment and show you your own report, strengths, priorities and progress.
- To answer questions you send us and to keep a record of the conversation.
- To improve the curriculum and the pilot, using anonymized and aggregated feedback.
- To send password-reset instructions if you ask for them.
4.Your assessment results belong to you
This is the part we ask you to read carefully. The NTI developmental self-assessment is a reflection tool, not a diagnostic or selection instrument.
- Individual assessment results stay with you. They are not sent to your employer, your sponsor or your supervisor unless you choose to share them.
- Where results are reported to an organization, they are reported only as group averages, and only when at least five people in that group have responded, so no one can be identified from the numbers.
- Assessment results are never used for hiring, promotion, pay, discipline or termination decisions, by us or as a condition of any program we run.
- You can withdraw from a program at any time; your own results remain available to you.
5.Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it or trade it for advertising.
- Service providers that operate behind the scenes: the platform that hosts the site and database, the service that delivers our emails, and the video-conferencing provider used for live sessions. They act on our instructions and only for these purposes.
- Your employer or sponsor, only in the limited aggregated form described above, and only where a program has been arranged that way.
- Anyone else, only if we are legally required to, or if you have asked us or agreed in advance.
6.Live sessions
Live sessions run on a third-party video platform. While you are in a session, that provider sees your name, the video and audio you choose to send, and your connection details, under its own privacy terms.
Sessions are not recorded unless we tell you beforehand and you have a chance to object. Please do not record, photograph or share any session without permission, and avoid identifying other participants outside the group.
7.Cookies and sign-in storage
We use only the small amount of storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember simple preferences, such as whether a panel on the coordinator screen is open. We do not run advertising networks or cross-site tracking.
8.How long we keep information
Registration, assessment, attendance, evaluation and follow-up records are kept for up to three years after a cohort finishes, so we can complete the pilot review, issue completion records, and improve the program. Proposal enquiries are kept while they remain relevant and then removed.
If you ask us to delete your account and records, we will, except anything we are legally obliged to keep or that exists only as an anonymized group figure.
9.How we protect information
Participant pages are reachable only by a private link that is replaced once you set a password, or by signing in. Passwords are stored in scrambled form. Coordinator access is limited to accounts marked as administrator, and the database hides participant rows from anyone who is not authorized to read them. Emails about the program are sent from notify.ntileadership.com. No method of storage is absolutely safe, so we also ask you to keep your password and your private link to yourself.
10.Your choices
Tell us through the Contact page and we will act within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that a request does not hand someone else's information to a stranger.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or ask for a copy of your own assessment report.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate — or update it yourself on your participant page.
- Ask us to delete your information or close your account.
- Ask that your results never be included in an aggregated organizational report.
- Opt out of non-essential program emails by replying to any message we send.
11.Where information is handled
Our systems are operated in the United States. If you join from another country, your information is processed there, under the safeguards described in this policy.
12.Children
The site and its programs are intended for adults in workplace leadership roles. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
13.Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will post the updated version here with a new date and, for people currently in a cohort, tell you by email.
